Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves managing records, reports, and directives for a Navy command in Naples, ensuring everything follows policies and uses modern technology.
You'll act as the main point of contact for records programs, including electronic systems and privacy rules, while analyzing laws and guidelines to share with the team.
It's a good fit for someone with experience in information management who communicates well and can handle complex issues in a government or military setting.
You will serve as a Records and Information Management Specialist in the Records Management Program of FORWARD SHIP SUSTAINMENT NAPLES.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying a broad knowledge of records management processing involved in the lifecycle of records, reports, and directives management and; 2) Analyzing and interpreting legislation, policy, and regulatory guidance for dissemination and; 3) Applying skills in oral and written communication to deal effectively with complex issues and differing approaches and views held by other managers, action officers, principal staff members, and senior leadership command-wide.
