Advertised Job Summary
Serve as a Custodial Services Quality Control Manager for the USC under the supervision of the AD Custodial Services.
Provides oversight, and quality control with regards to the day-to-day custodial services operations of facilities operations E&G buildings.
Serves as the principal quality control liaison for on-site external contractors and vendors, ensure operational and cleanliness and safety requirements are achieved and are in accordance with University, APPA , OSHA , and CDC requirements.
Manage and maintain the Company’s quality inspection process. Identify quality standards needing improvement and develop enhanced process resulting in a higher quality service to the clientele.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Preferred Qualifications
• Associate degree or higher and five years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified with one year of supervisory experience; or equivalency.
• Our ideal candidate has previous experience managing contracts and is familiar with legal requirements and terms of use.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Excellent communication and listening skills, with strong observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of how to properly carry out custodial tasks.
• Knowledge of custodial standards and requirements.
• Knowledge of safety practices relevant to the area of employment.
• Knowledge of inventory control. Some knowledge of personnel, procurement, and budgeting practices in state government.
• Knowledge of the concepts and techniques of on-the-job training.
• Ability to keep accurate written records.
• Ability to prioritize and make the optimal use of personnel, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to plan, direct and review the work of subordinates.
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
• Ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate.
• Demonstrate a strong attention to detail along with the ability to discover potential risks for our company.
• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
• Ability to problem solve through effective listening and observation skills.
• Ability to assist in budget planning and monitoring expenditures.
• Ability to estimate job costs.
