This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base Facilities and Major Range and Test Facilities Base to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: The incumbent serves as the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for Base Operations contracts for USAG Dugway Proving Ground, Directorate of Public Works at Dugway, Utah.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) Evaluating contractor performance to ensure contractual compliance on a large-scale contract; (2) Securing stakeholder agreement on all project technical details; (3) Evaluating contractor proposals for compliance with technical requirements; and (4) Preparing contract modifications to formalize project changes.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS - 11).
