Full Job Description

You will serve as a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (SHIPBUILDING) in the Executive Department (TRIREFFAC-C/100), Quality Management Office (TRIREFFAC- C/130), Quality Assurance Branch (TRIREFFAC-C133) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.

GS-12 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience with Electrical or Mechanical repair. Experience Audit, Surveillance, Rework and/or Critique experience.

Experience in Quality Assurance Inspection requirements such as Objective Quality Evidence documentation, Controlled work Procedures, and Controlled Material Handling.

  • You will conduct investigations and analysis of assigned critical functions to assess process quality and performance.
  • You will be serving as the focal point on quality assurance requirements and authorized to sign for the Quality Assurance Officer on all Subsafe and non-Subsafe controlled work packages.
  • You will be responsible for coordinating and controlling work packages, and monitoring shop and shipboard repair operations.
  • You will review and concur in various fabrication processes and prepares formal reports that clearly and concisely identify project status.
