Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves ensuring the quality and safety of aircraft and related equipment for the Saudi Arabian National Guard's aviation operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, by reviewing procedures, analyzing data, and managing maintenance programs.
A good fit would be someone with experience in aircraft inspection and quality control who can work overseas, provide training, and act as a go-between for military units and contractors.
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: Position is with Office of the Program Manager, Saudi Arabian National Guard (OPM-SANG). This position is located in Al Nakhla, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Specialized Experience (GS-12): One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes: Reviewing written quality or inspection maintenance procedures for adequacy; Evaluating the implementation and effectiveness of quality/inspection Aircraft systems; AND Analyzing quality data to detect unsatisfactory trends or weaknesses in the quality/inspection system.
