As a Psychological Services Associate, you will play a vital role in delivering psychological care to individuals incarcerated at SCI Frackville, working under the direct clinical supervision of a Licensed Psychologist Manager.
This position is essential for addressing the mental health and emotional well-being of inmates during their time with the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections.
Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the Licensed Psychologist Manager to design and implement outpatient mental health services, which encompasses the creation and dissemination of individualized recovery plans tailored to each patient's needs.
You may also be tasked with administering psychological and intelligence assessments, conducting mental status evaluations, and preparing psychological reports, all under the guidance of the Licensed Psychologist Manager.
Furthermore, you will facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions for a diverse range of individuals, including those with mental health disorders, sex offenders, and inmates with dual diagnoses, particularly in crisis situations.

Additional pay will be considered for those who currently possess or obtain licensure as a Social Worker, Clinical Social Worker, or Professional Counselor issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapist and Professional Counselors.
Documentation will need to be provided at interview to receive additional pay consideration.
