This job is for a psychiatrist who leads a team in a state hospital focused on treating children and teens with mental health issues, handling everything from assessments and treatment plans to discharge and on-call duties.

Education
Possession of a medical degree from an accredited school of medicine.
Experience
Completion of a psychiatric residency program and one year of experience as a psychiatrist in a mental health, clinic, program, or correctional facility.
Possession of a license to practice medicine or osteopathic medicine and surgery in Michigan.
Some positions require possession of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology “general requirements” for certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
