Salary: $4,961 to $6,043 per month (SR-20, Step D to I)

Independently performs a variety of work of average scope and complexity in the management of real properties and facilities; and performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications

To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements:

LEGAL AUTHORIZATION TO WORK
The State of Hawaii requires all persons seeking employment with the government of the State shall be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.

Basic Education:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.

Specialized Experience: One and one-half (1-1/2) years of progressively responsible professional work experience in property management; viz., the efficient utilization and maintenance of real property which included such activities as the acquisition or sale of real property, property evaluation, preparation and solicitation of bids, establishment of rental rates, selection of tenants, and the protection and maintenance of property. This work experience in property management must have included experience in business, commercial, or industrial real property management.

Substitutions Allowed: Relevant substitutions as described in the Minimum Qualification Requirements, will apply.

Federal Criminal History Records Check: In accordance with Federal regulations, persons who are being considered for employment in positions which require unescorted access to secured areas at the airport must undergo a pre-employment fingerprint-based criminal history record check. In order to be granted the Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) clearance, prospective employees must not have been convicted, or found "not guilty by reason of insanity," of a disqualifying criminal offense within 10 years from the date of the application. Upon recommendation for hire, prospective employees will be required to successfully undergo the fingerprint-based criminal history record check and be found free of disqualifying convictions during the preceding ten years. The cost for the records check will be the applicant's responsibility.
