This position is located in the Office of Contracting and Personal Property Management.
The Office of Contracting and Personal Property Management is responsible for the overall planning, management and execution of SI's contracting, simplified purchasing, personal property and policy programs.

GS-12 Experience: You qualify for this position if you have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal Service.
For this position, specialized experience is defined as leading and overseeing a personal property management program, including serving as an advisor to management on all aspects of personal property management.
This includes expertise in automated personal property fixed asset modules within an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and institutional property management programs.

The Property Management Specialist is the technical lead on management of the enterprise resource planning (ERP) personal property asset management database; personal property utilization and disposal; personal property and records maintenance and personal property inventory.
In this position, you will: Provide expertise for the operation and maintenance of the asset management automated database.
Serves as an expert on the SI ERP system and other databases and responds to questions and requests for modification. Compile data from various sources for financial depreciation reports.
Analyzes data and calls attention to any trends or problems noted. Prepares reports for various purposes.
Conduct internal property assessments within the agency to determine whether proper procedures are being followed and lead the annual personal property physical inventory efforts for the agency.
Provide technical and policy advice, functional leadership, guidance and direction on a wide variety of issues related to personal property.
