This position will serve as the Program Specialist - Mental Health Patient Care Management Module Coordinator (MH PCMMC) for the facility.
Incumbent will work in collaboration with the Chief of Mental Health, Administrative Officer, Clinic Coordinators, Providers and other clinical staff in assuring the management and accuracy of the provider panel database.
Will help with training, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of all administrative procedures related to MH Patient PCMM operations To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 04/09/2026.
Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
For a GS-09 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-07. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service.
An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials.
If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement.
In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade.

You may qualify based on your experience and/or education as described below: Specialized Experience: You must have at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-7) in the Federal service that has equipped me with the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the duties of this position.
Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: analyzing, evaluating, advising, and coordinating administrative operations; applying analytical and evaluative techniques; excellent communication and customer service skills; completing assigned projects and reviews in a timely manner; adapting to situations quickly, precisely, and accurately.

To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree.

Major Duties:
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Program Management 35 Percent Ensures maximum efficiency of the Mental Health clinic operations through appropriate utilization of resources: support to and involvement in optimal management information system data gathering and analysis, validation, and presentation.
Performs work in direct support of an administrative area such as management analysis or operating program analysis for the MH PCMM package.
Performs work in support of general management and/or program analysis functions in which knowledge of the purpose, operation, methodology and techniques characteristic of specific management/program analysis functions is required: specifically for the MH PCMM, which includes interdisciplinary panels and maintenance of those panels Data Entry 35 Percent Enters Mental Health information into PCMM system, enrolls patients into the Mental Health teams, and assigns patients to the appropriate provider within the PCMM system.
Assigns patients to Mental Health teams, removes patients from the database when discharged from Mental Health, maintains accurate enrollment data, identifies and corrects discrepancies in the database system, Performs work supporting the study or organizations, including work related to surveys conducted to assess organizational performance for the Mental Health Service, Mental Health Primary Care teams and the MHPCMM.
PCMM Training 10 Percent Works with Team Leaders and Clinic Managers to formulate and conduct training and orientation for all staff, providers, and clerks involved with MH PCMM.
Provides expertise and advice to all providers involved with MH PCMM. Troubleshoots and coordinates processes with all staff, providers and clerks involved with MH PCMM.
Reporting 10 Percent Manages administrative functions associated with the Mental Health PCMM program for the facility and clinics.
Assists professional staff with and handles administrative functions of the office. Gathers administrative information regarding patients for clinic managers.
Facilitation of Clinical Pertinence Reviews 10 Percent Facilitates the completion of required Clinical Pertinence reviews for both Psychology and Prescribing clinical staff.
Makes assignments of reviews quarterly, including a list of progress notes for the reviewer to select cases for review. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday; 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 pm. or 7:30 a.m.
to 4:00 p.m. This will be determined by the agencies needs. Telework: This position may be authorized for ad-hoc telework. As-hoc telework eligibility will be discussed during the interview process.
