Salary: $30.98 to $37.70 per hour (SR-22, Step D to I)

Note: Hiring rates will be based on availability of funds, the applicant's qualifications, and other relevant factors.


Requirements

Participates in the planning and coordination of programs and activities concerned with services to the developmentally disabled; conducts program and operational studies and activities to assist grant aided agencies in developing programs for the development of the master plan; monitors grant aided agencies to insure activities and use of funds conform to project intent and requirements; and performs other related duties as assigned.

To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements:

Legal Authorization to Work:
The State of Hawaii requires all persons seeking employment with the government of the State shall be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.

Basic Education/Experience Requirements: A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.

Specialized Experience: Two and one-half years of progressively responsible professional experience in social work, public health, or other related fields which demonstrated knowledge of current social and economic conditions, community organizations and the services and/or programs they offer to the community. The applicant's overall experience must demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the problems and needs of the developmentally disabled. It also must have demonstrated the applicant's ability to conduct studies and analyses of ongoing programs through active participation in the planning, coordination and development of programs and/or program activities.
