Full Job Description

You will serve as PROGRAM OFFICE ASSISTANT (CAP) in the FAMILY READINESS DIVISION (N91) of US NAVAL AIR FACILITY ATSUGI. ***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED.

Please see Additional Information section below.** Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-05) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing administrative, clerical and Office Automation support to professional counselors in support of various programs under the Counseling and Advocacy Program (CAP), Fleet and Family Support Center (FFSC).

  • You will maintain subject matter files or records for reference in accordance with established procedures.
  • You will operate a computer and standard office equipment in support of office operations and services.
  • You will conduct background checks for new staff.
