Location Negotiable After Selection- Position can be filled at any of the locations listed below: Ashburn, VA Boston, MA Buffalo, NY Irving, TX Washington, DC Experience: You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Advising leadership on nationally scoped projects related to International trade and programs, operational policies, procedures, or automated trade systems related to import and export processes.
Working with automated commercial systems and international trade stakeholders and users, with a role in international trade, such as software vendors, carriers, freight forwarders, custom brokers, and importers.
Assessing user impacts of software, product or systems deployments and analyzing user support needs, such as outreach, communications, or training, and developing support plans and products.

The purpose of the position is to serve as a Program Manager over a critical program segment for which both the scope and effect of the work have CBP-wide or program office-wide impact.
This position starts at a salary of $125,776.00 (GS-14, Step 1) to $163,514.00 (GS-14, Step 10).
Major duties: Leading a team in analyzing proposed software changes to international trade and cargo system applications.
Automated Commercial Environment (ACE)) and assessing the impacts of these changes on system users.
Overseeing the development and execution of integrated plans for communication, training, and deployment support needs in order to plan, design, develop, and deliver timely user support materials and activities.
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular briefings to communicate system issues, development progress, and deployment activities.
