Job Description

Summary

This job is for a Program Manager at the Defense Contract Management Agency, where you'll lead a team in overseeing defense acquisition programs, managing workloads, and providing technical advice to ensure projects run smoothly and meet goals.

Key Requirements

Site specific salary information as follows: Addison, Texas: $137,830-$185,619 (includes 27.26% locality) Orlando, Florida: $126,783-$170,741 (includes 17.06% locality) To qualify for a Program Manager, your resume and supporting documentation must support: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in, or related to, this position.

To qualify for the NH-04 level, specialized experience must be at the NH-03 or GS-13 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector.

Creditable specialized experience includes: Obtaining, analyzing, and disseminating commodity specific information, to include past, current and future program performance data, integrated supply chain information risk and predictability, and other business or technical issues.

Ensuring that strategic plans, mission visions and values are defined and communicated and integrated into a team's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans, work products and services.

Providing integrated technical guidance and assistance to a wide range of major and non-major acquisition programs. Major Duties:

  • Directs team operations, manages workload, and oversees all personnel actions including hiring, performance, and development.
  • Serves as a portfolio manager and key programmatic integrator, offering technical guidance and managing information systems for acquisition programs and supplier analysis.
  • Analyzes and contributes to policy, developing strategies to achieve objectives and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Interacts with senior government leaders to resolve issues, provides status reports, and reviews analytical reports.
