Full Job Description

The Program Assistant delivers comprehensive project and administrative support for multiple readySC projects. Key responsibilities include typing, filing, data entry, scheduling, and systematically organizing training records. The role ensures effective and efficient dissemination of information, responds to non-routine correspondence, and manages confidential and sensitive data. Additional duties involve supporting the assessment process by preparing daily assessment schedules and rosters, as well as coordinating activities related to the applicant interview process, such as organizing classrooms, checking in applicants, answering questions, and performing related tasks. The Program Assistant utilizes scheduling software to search for applicants, handle cancellations and rescheduling, review assessment rosters, and manage email communications and notices. This position works closely with the Senior Area Director to prioritize and complete tasks related to ongoing project management objectives, maintaining a high level of confidentiality.

Requirements

This position requires in-depth knowledge of data collection techniques and exceptional communication abilities. The ideal candidate will display a high level of interpersonal skills, including professionalism, poise, tact, and diplomacy. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, along with the ability to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills when addressing administrative challenges efficiently.
