About the Position: The position serves as Program Analyst for V Corps Current Operations Directorate located in Poznan, Poland.

Performs analysis and planning to support the execution of contingency peacetime missions and force modernization, coordinates emergency planning policies, and training evaluation programs to attain optimum maximum use.

Current Department of Army Civilian Employees Applying on Time-Limited Assignments In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Performing operations functions to accomplish operations support, coordinating emergency planning policies, and/or training evaluation programs; and/or reviewing policy guidance for plans and/or operations to recommend changes in terms of organizational structure and/or programs.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).

OR Successful completion of a Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position.

(Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) OR A combination of specialized experience as described above, but less than one year; and two years of graduate education as described above, but less than the required three years.

Compute the percentage of the requirements to total at least 100% (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12.

Then, divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.

Major Duties:

  • Performs analysis and planning to support the execution of contingency peacetime missions and force modernization.
  • Coordinates emergency planning policies, and training evaluation programs to attain optimum maximum use. Reviews policy guidance for the plans and operations branch and recommends changes for exercise and emergency response and recovery plans.
  • Provides oversight of unit training personnel to ensure that the commander’s training objectives are met and incorporated in the unit training plans.
  • Identifies, compiles, consolidates, checks, verifies, and organizes a variety of detailed planning data relating to different areas of operations.
  • Serves as the V Corps Staff Actions Control Officer (SACO).
