This position is responsible for implementing the Secretary's Criteria for Recognition in the review of accrediting and State approval/authorizing agencies and improving American Education.
Minimum Qualification Requirements Specialized Experience for the GS-13 One year of experience in either federal or non-federal service that is equivalent to at least a GS-12 performing two (2) out of three (3) of the following duties or work assignments: 1.
Experience in conducting detailed analysis and interpretation regulations directly related to the accreditation of higher education institutions and programs. 2.
Experience preparing or reviewing and evaluating documentation related to the accreditation of institutions and programs. 3.
Experience in communicating both orally and in writing with individuals at various levels.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) The quality of your experience will be measured by the extent to which you possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs).
