This job involves analyzing data and preparing reports for the Veterans Crisis Line team within the Department of Veterans Affairs, focusing on tracking performance metrics, supporting operations across shifts, and helping leadership with documentation and meetings.

This position is part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Crisis Line (VCL).
The candidate serves as a critical member of team Integrity but will also support all other Crisis Operations (Crisis Ops) Teams.
They will be responsible for reporting data for Crisis Ops to VCL leadership and the Office of Suicide Prevention with daily, weekly and monthly reports on new employees, precepting, supervision, performance monitors and more.

Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
For a GS- 09 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS- 07. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service.
An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials.
If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement.
In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade.
You may qualify based on your experience and/or education s described below: GS-9 Specialized Experience: You must have one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-7) in the Federal service that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.
In order to meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet 4/5 of the following examples of specialized experience: Gathering, developing and interpreting data from available information systems.
Providing data tracking and interpretation across teams and shifts regarding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and serving as liaison between departments and the data analytics team.
Developing and maintaining templates and formats for leadership. Completing agenda and minutes for ad-hoc meetings and cascading this information throughout the department.
Submitting notes and minutes to the meeting facilitators for review, approval, and dissemination.
Actively scheduling, updating, and monitoring the status of tasks and/or projects assigned to staff members and reporting challenges to deadline adherence.
OR, GS-9 Education: Applicants may substitute education for the required experience.
To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B.
or J.D., if related. (TRANSCRIPTS ARE REQUIRED) OR, GS-9 Combination of Education and Experience: Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at this level.
You must have a combination of specialized experience and education beyond 1 full year of graduate level education.

Major Duties:
The major duties of this position include but are not limited to: Conducts reviews and analyses of Clinical Ops functions/programs.
Gathers, develops and interprets data from available information systems. Utilizing all VCL data resources, develops an understanding of how databases and reports are organized.
Provides data tracking and interpretation across teams and shifts regarding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and serves as clinical operation liaison between Clinical Ops and the data analytic team.
Develops and maintains templates and formats for Clinical Ops leadership.
Completes agenda and minutes for ad-hoc meetings and cascades this information throughout Clinical Ops Submits notes and minutes to the meeting facilitator for review, approval, and dissemination.
Actively schedules, updates, and monitors the status of tasks and/or projects assigned to members of clinical operations staff members and reports challenges to deadline adherence to Assistant Deputy Directors.
Communicates and tracks daily outcomes, including KPIs, meetings, and schedule coverage. Tracks all suspense items within the responsibility of Clinical Ops or as assigned.
Provides organizational support to the Division Directors and Team Operations Coordinators. Performs other duties as assigned.
