Full Job Description

You will serve as a Program Analyst in the NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following statements: 1) Coordinates information requests and respond to inquiries; 2) Researches laws, regulations, and other directives to ensure accurate interpretation of Freedom of Information Act/Privacy Act (FOIA/PA) requests; 3) Evaluates and analyzes data and information prior to responding to inquiries or requests for information; 4) Prepares written materials.

  • You will be responsible for providing functional administration and technical data for assigned acquisition information systems.
  • You will collect data from assigned systems, prepare reports on compliance and status, and distributes the reports to appropriate personnel within the Contracting Department.
  • You will be assigned to committees and working groups comprised of personnel of various levels from multiple functional areas and activities.
  • You will monitor assigned procurement work processes and systems to ensure that the desired outcomes and performance levels are achieved and that required efficiency and effectiveness are realized.
  • You will manage contract folders in central file storage (hard copy or electronic, as applicable), retrieve and distribute folders as needed, and process folders for retirement, long-term storage, and destruction.
