As a Program Analyst, you will coordinate, analyze, and evaluate management programs, provide expert advice to managers,and identify best practices to improve Application Support Center program efficiency.

The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 02/26/2026.

Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service.

The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 02/26/2026 GS-13: You qualify at the GS-13 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position.

You must have experience performing the following duties: Analyzing immigration data within multiple data and information systems to identify and interpret patterns and trends.

Developing communication strategies on new business processes and technological improvements. Negotiating effectively with management to accept and implement recommendations.

GS-14: You qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position.

You must have experience performing the following duties: Independently leading, planning, organizing, and overseeing projects and consolidating findings into reports and recommendations.

Applying analytical tools to resolve broad or complex immigration-related issues and consolidating findings into written and oral communications.

Establishing strategic objectives for projects and programs in alignment with management's directives.

Effectively communicating policy or operational changes to stakeholders, both internal and external to the agency.

  • Establishing strategic objectives for projects and programs in alignment with management’s directives.
  • Conducts root cause analysis to identify issues in order to assist in the development of solutions to increase efficiency and capability of the workforce in the management of immigration information.
  • Effectively communicating policy or operational changes to stakeholders, both internal and external to the agency.
  • Plans, organizes and directs team study or work for project teams, and persuades or negotiates effectively with management to accept and implement recommendations where the proposals require extensive changes in established procedures.
