This job involves coordinating and improving a key computer system called P2 for the U.S.
Army Corps of Engineers, while leading a team of analysts to handle program changes, budgets, and project reviews in civil works projects.
It focuses on giving expert advice on budgets, policies, and performance metrics to ensure everything runs smoothly.

About the Position: Serves as MVK P2 coordinator, overseeing system changes, improvements and problems; monitoring process changes; documenting procedures and protocols related to P2.
Directs, leads, coordinates and oversees the efforts of a group of subordinate PPMD PAs and provide advice and guidance to them in the conduct of their assigned program analysis work & provides expert guidance concerning problems with respect to the Automated Information System(P2) which they are unable to resolve.

Specialized Experience GS-12: One year of specialized experience which includes Federal service which includes (1) analyze and evaluate the effects of changes in Civil Works program or project requirements due to slippages, delays, or funding cuts; (2) develop, prepare and submission of Civil Works programs or projects for budgetary proposals or changes; and (3) develop recommendations for improvement in program operations and objectives.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
