This job involves analyzing and improving maintenance processes for Navy ships at a naval shipyard, focusing on using technology and efficient methods to make operations smoother.
You'll work on projects that support ship repairs, manage contracts, and create reports on progress and issues.
It's a good fit for someone with experience in industrial processes, project management, and data analysis who enjoys working in a structured government environment.
You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Business Process Reengineering (BPR), C1512 in the Ship Maintenance Performance Group Division (Code 1510) of the Naval Shipyard Support Office (Code 1500) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying Advance Industrial Management-Next Generation (AIM-NG) processes and IT applications related to shipyard water processes and procedures.
Experience understanding process re-engineering techniques (e.g., Lean and Agile).
Experience applying shipyard Baseline Project Management and Integrated Project Teams for Aircraft Carrier Maintenance strategies.
