Base salary range: $51,332 - $66,732
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-8. Master's degree or 2 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves coordinating and managing maintenance teams to fix and support shipboard systems and equipment for the U.S. Navy, ensuring repairs are planned and executed smoothly.
You'll act as a key contact between naval officers, engineering teams, and production groups while handling budgets, training, and performance reports.
It's a great fit for someone with experience in logistics or maintenance planning who enjoys working in a structured military environment and has strong organizational skills.
You will serve as a production Controller in the Production Department (Code 900) of SOUTHWEST REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting in the management and evaluation of all shipboard maintenance services by planning, developing, implementing repairs to ensure the successful execution of maintenance programs.
