Job Description
The Process Control Associate (Water Reclamation) will manage the daily maintenance and operation of computerized plant automation and control systems across water and wastewater treatment facilities and/or pumping stations. This highly technical role involves monitoring system performance, diagnosing, and resolving hardware and software issues within a variety of control systems.

Responsibilities include ensuring seamless integration and reliable operation across multiple platforms, including Foxboro Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Wonderware Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, Allen-Bradley Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and associated process control instrumentation.

This position may also include supervisory duties, providing guidance and oversight to field technicians performing maintenance and support activities.

Essential Duties
  • Provide leadership and supervision to assigned staff, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Plan, develop, and maintain weekly work schedules to support operational needs.
  • Coordinate activities with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to support maintenance and project work.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment and system issues in a timely manner.
  • Perform calibration, maintenance, and repair of various instrumentation and control devices.
  • Apply knowledge of PLC programming to support troubleshooting, system optimization, and automation improvements.

Grade
The grade for this position is C41(1). Salary will be dependent on education and experience.

Effective 4/11/2023, this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics AND
  • Two years of electronics experience; OR
    • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered.
