This position is part of the To qualify for the PPW (Multi-color Sheet-fed Press), KX-4401-07 position, applicants must meet the following Screen Out-Element: #1 - Ability to Do the Work of the Position without More Than Normal Supervision.
Your qualifications will first be evaluated against the prescribed screen out element.
If your knowledge and ability in the SCREEN OUT ELEMENT below is not sufficient, you will not receive further consideration.
In addition to the SCREENOUT, applicants must also have the ability to perform the following: Reviews job jacket for identification of paper stock, ink, and plates Sets-up feeder and monitors to ensure working properly Assists in press operations involving the installation and removal of plates, blankets, and rollers Monitors press for any problems Delivers completed work to designated weigh area Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement to be considered.
