Base salary range: $46,479 - $60,424
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-7. Graduate study or significant experience.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job is for a police officer who also serves as a trainer, teaching Navy security personnel about law enforcement skills, equipment, and procedures in Key West, Florida.
It involves preparing lessons, ensuring everyone meets safety and proficiency standards, and improving training methods.
A good fit would be someone with hands-on police experience who enjoys teaching and working in a structured military environment.

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1.
Knowledge of a body of basic laws and regulations, law enforcement operations, practices, and techniques and involved responsibility for maintaining order and protecting life and property2.
Teaching course curriculum in specialized and technical instructional areas related to Navy Security Forces (NSF) training objectives3.
