In this position, you will be entrusted with several critical tasks, including fielding calls from the public and county 911 operators regarding both emergency and non-emergency police matters.
You will gather essential information, prioritize incidents, and relay critical details to responding troopers.
Responsibilities will include coordinating with municipal police, fire departments, ambulance services, towing companies, and PennDOT as needed.
Using systems like the Commonwealth Law Enforcement Assistance Network (CLEAN), Pennsylvania Justice Network (JNET), and the Protection from Abuse Database (PFAD), you will access and maintain records and establish incident details in electronic management systems.
Additionally, you will communicate with troopers and other police communications operators about active incidents or any concerns that arise.
