This part-time podiatrist position involves providing foot and ankle care to residents at a state restoration center in Pennsylvania's mountains, including exams, treatments, and collaboration with other medical staff.
It's ideal for a licensed podiatrist who enjoys working in a supportive team environment focused on resident well-being, with a flexible schedule of about 15 hours per week.
No remote work is available, making it suitable for those who prefer in-person patient interaction.
As a Podiatrist, you will provide podiatric care by examining, diagnosing, and treating foot and ankle conditions through medical, surgical, and mechanical interventions.
You will collaborate with medical staff to manage systemic disorders as well as coordinate advanced treatments or surgeries.
Additionally, you will be responsible for recommending appropriate diagnostic tests, medications, therapies, and corrective footwear; operating and maintaining sterile surgical instruments and devices; and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations while maintaining accurate and timely medical records.
