Requirements

As a Podiatrist, you will provide podiatric care by examining, diagnosing, and treating foot and ankle conditions through medical, surgical, and mechanical interventions.

You will collaborate with medical staff to manage systemic disorders as well as coordinate advanced treatments or surgeries.

Additionally, you will be responsible for recommending appropriate diagnostic tests, medications, therapies, and corrective footwear; operating and maintaining sterile surgical instruments and devices; and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations while maintaining accurate and timely medical records.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Part-time employment (15 hours per week, split between 2-3 days); no lunch break
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Graduation from an approved school of podiatry.
  • Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.

Special Requirements:

  • You must be in possession of a current license to practice podiatry in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as issued by the State Board of Podiatry.

  • This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
