The Screen-out Element for this position is: The ability to perform common tasks including assembly of pipe sections and fittings, hanging or laying of assemblies into position, and threading and pipe bending operations.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Major Duties:

• You will install, modify, maintain, and repair new and existing high temperature water and high/low pressure steam piping systems and equipment (i.e. steam heating, radiators, steam generation and hydraulic systems, expansion tanks, and pumps).
• Perform assembly of pipe sections and fittings, and hanging or laying of assemblies into position.
• Perform threading and pipe bending operations.
• Plan and lay out the routing, placement, pitch, elevation, pressure reduction, expansion, and operation of various piping systems and equipment.
• Test systems and equipment for proper pressures, leak-free joints, and operation.
