This position is in the Office of Finance and Administration, Office of the Chief Facilities and Security Officer, Real Property and Security Division, Security Management Branch.
About: Office of Finance and Administration This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to one of the duty stations stated in this announcement on a regular basis (location TBD after candidate selected).
NOTE: You must meet qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
To qualify for the GS-12 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level defined as assisting in the application of the Interagency Security Committee (ISC) Risk Management Process for Federal Facilities to conduct facility security assessments and determine Facility Security Levels (FSL); and ensuring the effective implementation of access control, intrusion detection, CCTV, and related protective measures.

At the entry level of this position, you will: Interpret existing and emerging federal security standards, translate them into implementable requirements, and deliver actionable advice and guidance to decision-makers and stakeholders for consideration.
Conduct surveys, inspections, and risk assessments to evaluate threats, vulnerabilities, and consequences, and develop and implement security countermeasures at federal facilities to reduce risk to an acceptable level.
Prepare reports summarizing analytical methods, results, and recommendations for stakeholders.
Participate in the development of agency policies related to physical and electronic security systems and emergency preparedness.
Design and deliver formal and informal training on physical security procedures, security awareness, and Occupant Emergency Plans, tailored to the specific needs of the facility and program.
