Full Job Description

You will serve as a Physical Security Specialist in the Department of Navy of COMMANDER NAVY REGION EUROPE, Italy.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector documenting work in the area of Counter Unmanned Ariel Systems (C-UAS) program management /operations.

Possess a thorough knowledge of defense platforms, to include kinetic and non-kinetic systems.

Must have documented experience conducting in-person assessments and program oversight at the senior level or above.

Must possess superior knowledge of navy Counter-Unmanned Ariel programs and reporting requirements.

Must be able to write and present flag level briefs on program health and provide team oversight for daily products.

  • You will be responsible for ensuring system efficiency and effectiveness. Coordinate CSUAS operations and capabilities with adjacent commands, applicable agencies and local/national entities.
  • You will develop guidance for subordinate activities and perform continual appraisal of the utilization of command resources in accomplishing program goals and objectives. Advise and inform in order to resolve problems or difficulties.
  • You will develop and coordinate CsUAS security planning and policy.
  • You will analyze and interpret Public Laws, local/national interests and if applicable Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations to determine their applicability in supporting the CsUAS program.
  • You will review and revise as necessary, directives, instructions, regulations, having potential impact on CsUAS Operations.
  • You will conduct periodic onsite evaluation of CsUAS systems, processes and procedures for compliance, effectiveness, and efficiency.
  • You will develop and conduct executive-level briefs, support completion of reports as required and assist with CsUAS reporting requirements for actual incidents.
  • You will plan and conduct comprehensive analytical analysis of established command, service and national policy, directives, and guidance to identify specified and implied tasks and requirements.
