Workforce Training healthcare program is seeking adjunct instructors for the Medical Assisting program.
Requirements
These positions require an associate degree and three (3) years of teaching experience.
Qualifications
Experience in triaging, teaching vital signs, phlebotomy, waived testing, immunizations, pharmacology math, and medication delivery methods are preferred. Prior teaching experience with online learning platforms and instruction is also preferred. Extensive knowledge in medical terminology, anatomy & physiology, minor surgery procedures, law & ethics, front office management and office financial responsibilities are essential. Ideal candidate will have the ability to provide weekly student assessments and ensuring a safe learning environment while monitoring students in classroom and lab sessions is critical. Excellent customer service, interpersonal and data entry skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office also essential. This position is located at Thornley Campus. Day and evening courses are available. .
