The Office of Directors Division of Public Health - Seattle & King County is seeking four (4) Short-Term Temporary (STT) Pharmacy Technicians to join our team!
These positions will be under the Office of Directors Division (ODIR) Pharmacy Department.
STT Pharmacy Technicians will assist with backfill needs across Community Health Services CHS and Jail Health Services pharmacies.
The responsibilities include assisting pharmacists by processing prescriptions, maintaining patient profile, filling orders, ordering medications, maintaining pharmaceutical inventory, and providing support services to ensure that the pharmacy program is in compliance with all relevant state and federal rules and regulations.
These positions will operate under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
This is an on-call STT position that allows the applicant to have the flexibility to work whenever they are available.
This position also allows applicants to work in various pharmacy locations and learn different aspects of pharmacy work.
Note: This posting will create a list of qualified candidates that may be considered for selection of additional vacancies of the same position type over the next 6 months.

Work Schedule
These are on-call float positions (Short-Term Temp), the work hours will vary between 7:00 am and 5:30 pm depending on the location and shift.
This position requires the candidates to be available at minimum of one (1) shift per month to work at Public Health Pharmacies. The various work schedules dependent on the backfill needs.
Holidays and weekends may be included and may work outside these days/hours to meet operational needs.

The work associated with these positions will be performed on site throughout King County. These positions will be based in the Chinook Building located at 401 Fifth Ave. Seattle, WA 98104. Other site locations are:
