Specialized experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level in the Federal Service, involving responsibilities such as receiving and responding to patient concerns and grievances; effectively presenting patients' problems, opinions, and needs to appropriate staff and management; and applying knowledge of the organization's mission, policies, procedures, and available resources/services to advise patients on their rights and responsibilities.
OR Substitution of education: Successfully completion a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B or J.D.
in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position.
