Full Job Description

We are seeking a Part-Time Medical Office Coordinator with clinical expertise to oversee both administrative and patient care operations in the JFRD Health & Wellness Program.

This role combines leadership, clinical knowledge, and operational oversight to ensure smooth workflow, high-quality patient care, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

Clinical Support & Coordination:

  • Oversees daily clinical operations and ensure efficient patient flow
  • Supports healthcare providers with scheduling, patient intake, and clinical documentation
  • Assists in maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient medical records
  • Ensures compliance with clinical protocols, HIPAA, OSHA, and other healthcare regulations
  • Coordinates health screenings, vaccinations, and routine clinical testing as needed
  • Facilitates communication between providers, clinical staff, and patients

Administrative & Operational Duties:

  • Manages administrative operations including patient check-in/out, appointment scheduling, and phone triage
  • Monitors clinic inventory, medical supplies, and equipment readiness
  • Implements and maintains office and clinical policies and procedures

Patient Experience & Compliance:

  • Addresses patient inquiries, concerns, and service needs professionally
  • Ensures clinical documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with all regulations
  • Maintains a high standard of patient confidentiality and professional conduct


Additional Information

  • Three (3) years of education and/or experience in medical office administration or healthcare management.
