This job involves managing a warehouse for vehicle and equipment parts, ordering supplies, tracking inventory, and leading a team to support county mechanics and operators.
It's a hands-on role that requires organizing shipments, handling purchases, and ensuring everything runs smoothly to keep Pierce County's infrastructure operational.

How to be successful in the role: Your success will come from your great customer service, knowledge of heavy equipment parts, relationships with mechanics, operators, suppliers, and vendors.
Your ability to operate a forklift, keep a clean and organized warehouse, and knowledge of computers for all aspects of part procurement and fleet maintenance will further ensure your success.
