The Department of Natural Resources, Division of Parks & Outdoor Recreation, is recruiting for a Park Technician 1 in Anchorage.
This position is open to Alaska Residents only.

What You Will Be Doing:
The Park Technician 1 plays a critical role in ensuring that park facilities are safe, clean, and welcoming to the public.
This position oversees daily operations in assigned park areas, including maintenance and servicing of outhouses, campgrounds, trailheads, public-use cabins, picnic pavilions, fee stations, and other essential infrastructure.
Serving as a frontline leader, the Park Technician 1 supervises, trains, and directs Alaska Conservation Corps members and volunteers, fostering a culture of stewardship, professionalism, and teamwork.
This position supports all facets of park operations, including facility and grounds maintenance, public safety, visitor services, recreation management, and natural resource protection.
Through strong leadership and hands-on engagement, the Park Technician 1 directly contributes to operational excellence and the long-term stewardship of Alaska’s public lands.
