The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) is looking for a reliable and responsible Park Maintenance Worker.
In this vital position, you will play a key role in keeping the center's buildings, facilities, and grounds in top shape by performing minor repairs, maintaining facilities, and engaging in a variety of projects.

In this position, you will engage in various trades, utilizing hand tools and equipment in supporting staff with the upkeep and repair of facilities, equipment, and tools at the Nolde Forest Environmental Education Center.
Your responsibilities will encompass tasks such as cleaning, using and repairing landscaping tools and equipment, light carpentry, and ensuring tasks are completed safely.
You will be responsible for replacing light bulbs, cleaning gutters, and caring for motors through oiling and adjustments.
Furthermore, you will paint interior walls, park signs, and other surfaces as directed.
Additionally, you will document your work, communicate effectively with the team, and contribute to creating a welcoming and safe place for visitors, volunteers, and coworkers.
