This job involves painting and maintaining military ordnance equipment, like weapons and related gear, using tools such as spray guns, brushes, and blasting systems to prepare surfaces and apply protective coatings.
Workers set up paint booths, mix paints, and ensure everything meets safety and quality standards with minimal supervision.
It's a good fit for hands-on tradespeople with experience in industrial painting, especially those comfortable working with metals and in a military or repair shop environment.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF THE POSITION WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION: Set-up, operating, adjusting and maintaining conventional paint booth, media blasting systems and mixer and shakers.
Interpreting specification and schematics. Preparing paints with thinners, pigments and dryers to obtain appropriate consistency, color and drying time.
Preparing paint strips and stencil for various types of items such as containers, canisters, wings and fins and other related material.
