The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF THE POSITION WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION: Performs and records corrective and scheduled preventative maintenance on submarine weapon and ordnance handling equipment as required.
Operates forklift trucks inside and outside of production buildings and magazines, trucks and other confined spaces on ramps and outside areas.
Performs receipt, storage, segregation, inspect, and issue ordnance material.
Assures the quality, quantity and safety of ordnance materials and operations as related to the receipt, storage, issue, handling, packing and shipping of such items.
Performs receipt and issue inspections on ordnance items and certify OTR shipments. Conducts on/offload of ordnance materials to include Tomahawk VLS/CLS assets.
Possess knowledge of 20MM and 2.75-inch rocket loading procedures to support the Armed Helo Program. Required to operate motor vehicles to support the movement of ordnance materials.
