Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

This job involves leading a team of mechanics who repair and maintain military ordnance equipment, such as bombs and munitions systems, while managing resources, planning work, and ensuring safety in a National Guard unit.
It's a supervisory role focused on organizing daily operations, adapting to emergencies, and improving processes to keep missions on track.
A good fit would be an experienced military supervisor with strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of mechanical repairs, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations in a team environment.
This is a National Guard Title 32 Excepted Service Position.
This is a Permanent WS-6641-10 ORDNANCE EQUIPMENT MECHANIC SUPERVISOR (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D2571000 and is part of the MO 131st Bomb Wing. This is a non-bargaining position.
This position is also advertised on AGR announcement #AF26-032 MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidate must currently be assigned to a military unit in the Missouri Air National Guard.
Title 32 employees will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor (grade inversion).
Maximum Military Grade - CMSgt (E-9) Minimum Military Grade - SMSgt (E-8) GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must possess experience or training that has provided you with the knowledge and application of mechanical and electrical principles and the skill to perform intricate repair and adjustment of hydraulic and pneumatic components and devices.
WG-10 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess specialized experience which demonstrates the ability to plan and organize work assignments for an ordnance equipment repair function; review work requirements and establish priorities to meet deadlines; deal effectively with other people; supervise through subordinate supervisors, or the potential to perform such duties as evidenced by the ability to communicate, skill at applying human relations techniques, a knowledge of general supervisory concepts, and a knowledge of shop processes; and adapt existing equipment and techniques to new situations?
