About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Ramstein Bowling Alley, Ramstein AB, Germany. This position may offer logistical support.

Assists in a Business Operations Program to ensure the quality of the product, guest service, and hospitality.

Ensures that only authorized personnel use the facility, and that business rules, regulations and established procedures are followed. Responsible for issue, receipt, and control of cash.

Citizens and legal U.S. residents in Germany. In accordance with the Status of Forces Agreement between Germany and the U.S., you must be a U.S. citizen or citizen of a NATO country with a U.S.

permanent resident card in order to be eligible for NAF employment.

Citizens of Germany (including dual citizenship if Germany is one of the countries) as well as "ordinarily resident" US citizens are not eligible for NAF employment per SOFA agreement.

If not already in the commuting area, must be able to verify the ability to arrive before a firm job offer can be sent.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience: Experience which provides knowledge of multiple areas within food & beverage operations.

Must also possess experience which provides knowledge of cash handling procedures and sales operations such as; receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit and use of cash accountability control methods.

Experience with operating computers and associated software is desirable. Must have experience with coaching others and giving direction. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.

Ability to read and write English. Ability to work in hot and noisy working conditions. Must work flexible schedules to include weekends, nights, and holidays.

Must be able to reach, bend, balance, and transport various objects up to 50lbs. Must stand and walk for prolonged periods of time (7 to 8 hours per shift). Major Duties:

Assists in a Business Operations Program (Bowling) to ensure the quality of the product, guest service, and hospitality.

Ensures that only authorized personnel use the facility, and that business rules, regulations and established procedures are followed. Responsible for issue, receipt, and control of cash.

Performs basic register functions including voids, comps, discounts, other table maintenance. Prepares a report of all significant occurrences during the shift.

May assist with daily financial paperwork, disbursements, and deposits. Assists management by adjusting schedules to match business needs.

Inspects and ensures the security of the facility at the beginning and end of each shift.

Monitors different setups to include, but not limited, to Front of the House, Back of House, Coffee operations and Bar operations; completes line quality checks throughout the operation.

Assists management with assigning duties and responsibilities to team members based upon work requirements. Provides on the job training for new hires and other personnel.

Assures patron satisfaction by resolving complaints and other customer problems.

When needed, may perform the duties of a food server, barista, bartender, busser, host, expediter, line/prep cook or dishwasher. Performs other related duties as assigned.
