Full Job Description

This position is located at McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, McAlester, Oklahoma.. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Resumes must be two pages (or less).

Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Progressively responsible duties in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, custody or other processing of cash items.

Where duties involve selling alcoholic beverages applicant must meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic beverage at the time of appointment. Skill in providing customer service.

Ability to communicate effectively.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Possess a minimum of (1) year of experience related to Family and MWR Business Programs.

Possess a minimum of (2) years of experience in providing great customer service in the food and beverage industry.

Possess a minimum of (2) years of experience with Microsoft Excel workbooks, including analysis, calculation, and creation of financial reports to brief management.

Possess a minimum (1) year experience in inventory, cash, and key control management with Army NAF Programs. Experience must be clearly reflected in your resume in order to be considered.

(Please Note: Qualified applicants also meeting the Highly Preferred Criteria will be referred to management first.) Major Duties:

  • Assists management with the operation of facility in accordance with established procedures. Issues, receives and controls cash receipts and change funds; verifies cash count of funds turned in by cashiers. Determines cash shortage or overages.
  • Assures only authorized patrons utilize the facilities. Submits daily report of operations. Assists in setting up parties according to party plan.
  • May assist bartenders in setting up bars and/or cashier's bag. Completes Daily Activity Report. Completes fire safety checks and secures the facility.
  • May monitor inventories, place and receive food and beverage orders using Food track or similar software.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
