Summary
This job involves helping with the intake and release of inmates at a correctional facility, managing their paperwork and housing assignments, and handling general office tasks under supervision.

- Capability to handle other clerical duties as assigned by booking department or shift command
- Willingness to work a security post if required
Full Job Description
Under general supervision, this position works in the coordination with the booking department and shift command. Performs booking duties in regards to intakes and releases. Verifies and maintains court and other documentation of inmates and coordinates housing assignments. Responsible for keeping housing information up to date in OIS. Other clerical duties as requested by the booking department and/or shift command. May be required to work a security post.Office Assistant 3 Housing Coordinator

Qualifications
Training: Graduation from a standard high school or the equivalent.Experience: Four (4) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience performing routine office work.
Substitution: College hours, related business school, or vocational training may be substituted through an established formula for the required experience.
