How to be successful in the role: Your success will come from your knowledge of warehouse and inventory practices, receiving of materials, and high attention to detail in this role.

You will work with internal customers ensuring accurate tracking, control of materials and tools coming in and out of the warehouse.

You will ensure materials and goods received in the warehouse match up to Purchasing records and provide accurate and reliable data entry into spreadsheets and database systems.

Your ability to handle changing priorities and provide a high level of customer service will ensure your success with the team.

Core daily responsibilities:

  • Organize, maintain and retrieve information and documents from files and records.
  • Process receiving paperwork, verify shipments, and match to digital and hard copy Purchasing documents.
  • Maintain and process receiving and/or statistical records.
  • Make proper distribution and data entry, code incoming material for stocking.
  • Respond to routine inquiries by telephone or person-to-person.
  • Fulfill requests for supplies; fulfill pick orders.
  • Operate standard office equipment such as copiers, scanners, and personal computers.
  • Assist in specially assigned data searches; reconcile data.
  • Receive and process routine to moderately complex forms and data entry.

Qualifications

  • Additional education or experience may substitute for the required experience.
  • One year of general clerical experience.

  • A valid driver’s license is required of the position.
