The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) Chief Operating Officer (COO) administers the Director of National Intelligence (DNI's) vision and direction to the ODNI enterprise.
This includes synchronizing policy, plans, procedures, and cross-functional issues.
The COO oversees all ODNI business operations, including such areas as human resources, internal policies, finance and budget, information technology, security, facilities, and information management.

Provide one or two specific examples and explain how those qualities would enable you to serve effectively in this position. Mandatory Requirements: Expert knowledge of IC and related U.S.
Government policies, directives, and standard operating procedures and demonstrated ability to develop a broad range of ODNI-wide policies, instructions, processes, and guidelines.
Expert knowledge of ODNI components, missions, and interrelationships and experience working either with or in a major U.S.
Government or IC organization; extensive understanding of the authorities, roles, and responsibilities of the organizations within the ODNI.
Expert knowledge of and demonstrated experience in the research, formulation, development, and coordination of agency level policies and directives, including extensive knowledge of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for policy development and assessment.
Superior ability to apply knowledge of ODNI and IC organizations and relevant ODNI components in order to effectively address their intelligence requirements and provide appropriate policy responses to meet ODNI needs.
Superior interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including demonstrated ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment effectively with senior officials, management, teams, and colleagues.
Superior written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to articulate complex intelligence issues to a wide audience, including the ability to write policy or analytic products for the senior U.S.
Government officials and the ODNI workforce.
Superior ability to build and sustain professional networks and collaborate with both management and staff to continuously improve community relationships, products, and services.
Expert project leadership capabilities, including the ability to effectively coordinate business processes, deliver within time constraints, manage competing priorities, and adjust quickly to deal with time sensitive requirements.
Minimum of 10 years government experience. Major Duties:
Lead and oversee staff in the formulation, development, production, and evaluation of a broad range of policies processes, and guidance on subject areas including mission enabling functions, and intelligence oversight disciplines and communicate these policies, processes, and guidelines to community stakeholders.
Lead, plan, promote, produce and develop a broad range of policies, processes, and guidance on ODNI business operations subject areas including Information Technology (IT), Human Capital (HC), Security, or other enabling functions, and intelligence disciplines and communicate these policies, processes, and guidelines to agency stakeholders.
Lead and oversee staff in the review and analysis of policies, processes, and guidelines that are contained in United States Government (U.S.) Government and Intelligence Community (IC) Directives, Policy Guidance, Standards, plans, and memoranda to ensure equities are captured and relevant concerns are resolved.
Lead, plan, develop, and provide substantive briefings, presentations, reports, and other materials to inform senior leadership and other stakeholders on policy issues.
Plan, research, produce, and communicate trends and developments to ODNI senior leadership.
Lead, plan, develop, and promote communications that increase stakeholders', consumers', and ODNI colleagues' overall understanding of ODNI instructions and processes, and procedures to promote mission effectiveness.
Initiate, cultivate, and maintain productive working relationships with colleagues, experts, IC policy members, and internal policy boards and use these relationships to share information of ODNI interest.
