This internship at the Caro Center involves hands-on work in occupational therapy, helping patients improve their daily living skills in a state-run health facility focused on mental health and human services.
Interns will assist licensed therapists with treatments and patient care under supervision.

Intern Summary
The occupational therapy intern will conduct occupational therapy assessments, identify treatment goals/interventions, administer treatment, and document patient response to treatment and progress related to occupational therapy interventions.
The occupational therapy intern will participate in the planning, coordinating, and implementation of occupational therapy related therapeutic groups and/or individual treatment as defined in each patient’s Individual Plan of Service (IPOS).
Responsibilities:
Occupational therapy intern duties include but are not limited to:
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy or a related field; and enrolled in an occupational therapy master’s degree program.
