Job Description

Summary

This job is for a nursing instructor at a technical college in South Carolina, where you'll teach classes, develop lessons, assess student progress, and guide students through the nursing program, including hands-on lab and clinical training.

Full Job Description

To provide nursing instruction, instructional development, assessment functions to include program learning outcomes and student learning outcomes, student recruitment, enrollment and registration, student advising, and retention efforts for the Nursing program. Focus is on didactic, laboratory and clinical activities required to implement and carry-on the Nursing curriculum.

Requirements

Faculty teaching associate degree courses designed for transfer to the baccalaureate degree: doctor's or master’s degree in the teaching discipline, Nursing, or master’s with a concentration in teaching discipline (min. 18 graduate semester hrs. in the teaching discipline, Nursing) from a regionally accredited school. Hold unencumbered active license as RN in SC & have two years clinical experience as an RN.

Qualifications

Prefer 2 years teaching experience at the technical/community college or vocational school level.
