This position is located at the Child and Youth Services (CYS) Base at Fort Hood, TX.
Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Child and Youth Services (CYS) Employee Childcare Fee: First Child: 100% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Second and Subsequent Children: 25% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Available to CYS Regular and FLEX (working a minimum of 15 hours).

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Degree or diploma from a professional nursing program approved by the legally designated State accrediting agency at the time the program was completed by the applicant.
Must have active, current registration as a professional nurse (RN) in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
In addition to the above, applicants must have at least one of the following: 1. One year of specialized experience equivalent in scope and complexity to the next lower grade level 2.
Two full years of progressively higher level graduate education or a master's or equivalent degree in the field of nursing.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Highly preferred candidates will submit resumes that reflect experience in pediatric nursing and/or working with children/youth with special needs.
The experience and knowledge listed above MUST be reflected on your resume to be considered a Highly Preferred candidate.
