Requirements
As a Nurse Aide, you will to provide nonprofessional nursing care to residents. You will assist residents with activities of daily living, distribute meal trays, apply safety devices, and report vital signs. You will also be responsible for transporting and escorting residents, as well as collecting specimens for lab work. This role requires effective communication to actively participate in interdisciplinary team meeting, where you will discuss and contribute to treatment plans for residents. In addition, you will ensure a safe environment in resident rooms by addressing any hazards and reporting them to the nursing supervisor. Your day-to-day contact with our residents will positively impact their quality of life by providing the best possible care.Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment (8 hours per day/40 hours per week)
- Work hours will be determined from the following shifts, with a 30-minute lunch. You will work rotating days and weekends, with every other weekend off.
- 2nd shift (3:00 PM to 11:30 PM)
- 3rd shift (11:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary:
In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry; or
- Six months of paid experience in the care and treatment of geriatric or physically ill patients or residents.
- This position is assigned to a long-term or specialized care facility and requires active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
